Lardo degli Ezzelini is made only from Italian meat.
During curing, which lasts no less than 90 days, the lard is massaged several times and sprinkled with a special blend of spices created to enhance its flavor. Once judged to be ready, the lard is cut and packaged into tiles ready to be sliced.
Its color is pinkish-white with veins on red, the taste sweet.
