The primary ingredient of our Carrettiere Ham is pork leg, strictly Italian, to which salt is added as the only ingredient and preserved.
After curing for at least 16 months, the ham is taken to the smoking room where, through a strictly natural process, the ham is smoked with beech wood.
The end result is a pinkish-colored slice with slight white veins. Its taste is distinguished by a smoky note that emphasizes the natural sweet taste.
